The purpose of this page is to pull together the various library resources available to those who teach IDS 110.

Primary Exercise

In-class exercise - This is the hands-on exercise that the library faculty use in their presentations to IDS classes.

Supplementary Exercises

Use these exercises to complement the library classroom exercise:

  • Library Homepage Exercise - Learn to better navigate the Library homepage.
  • Electronic Reference Resources Exercise - This exercise will familiarize students with the electronic dictionaries, encyclopedias and other 'quick fact' sorts of resources we now have available electronically.
  • Citation Exercise - Students will learn how read a citation for a journal article and determine if the library owns the cited item.
