The jam session started in 1991 largely through the efforts of Audie Stone.  Recently Audie passed away and the event is run by his wife Maureen and her children.  The jam features early county music, bluegrass, gospel music, and fiddle tunes.  Listeners occasionally two-step dancing and jig dance.  Money from a concession stand helps defray the expenses of maintaining the building.
