Translations

Finding adequate English translations of sung texts is very important for singers, accompanists and conductors. The Music Library has many resources that can help find good translations to foreign song texts and librettos. Most printed resources can be found in the library stacks under the classification ML48 through ML54.6. Occasionally, musical sound recordings are accompanied by printed texts and translations that may be useful. Musical scores may also contain translations.
